Enmanuel Valdez Continues RBI Streak with Space Cowboys

(SUGAR LAND, Texas) - Sugar Land Space Cowboys infielder Enmanuel Valdez had driven in a run three straight games headed into Friday's contest against the El Paso Chihuahuas.
Valdez continued the streak, going 3-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBI.
The Space Cowboys went on to lose, 11-3, to El Paso at Constellation Field, evening the six-game series at 2-2.
Over his last four games, Valdez has hit .467 (7x15) with three doubles and five RBI. He leads all Houston Astros minor leaguers with 67 RBI this season.
The Space Cowboys opened the scoring in their half of the first with a bases-loaded walk from Pedro León.
León finished the night 1-for-3 with an RBI and a pair of stolen bases. He ranks second of Triple A players with 28 stolen bases on the year.
Valdez added his two-run double in the fourth, scoring León and Marty Costes.
CJ Hinojosa, Luis Campusano, Robinson Cano and Kyle Martin each homered for El Paso.
The two teams continue the series at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday at Constellation Field, with Brandon Bielak to face Thomas Eshelman.
