DES MOINES, IA, Nov. 25, 2011- The 2011 NBA D-League Champion Iowa Energy begin the defense of their title tonight at Canton in a nationally televised game. Game time is 6:30pm Central, and will air live on NBA TV.
The Canton Charge are new to the league, after the Cleveland Cavaliers purchased the New Mexico Thunderbirds and moved them to Ohio. The Charge feature former NBA PG Keith McLeod, as well as D-League veteran F Jamine Peterson and 1st round pick F Tyrell Biggs.
The Energy play four road games before returning to Des Moines for the home opener on Saturday, December 3rd. Tickets for all regular season games are now on sale at www.DahlsTickets.com.
