Eugene Emeralds News Release
EUGENE, OR - On August 12 in a kingdom called PK Park, the Eugene Emeralds will host Princess Night to start a five-game series against the Everett Aquasox. Princes and princesses across the land can come dressed in their best, and a good time will be had by all. This year the Ems have invited the Snow Queen and her princess friends to come out and join the festivities.
Fans are invited to head onto the field at 6 p.m. for story time to hear their favorite fairy tales read by real princesses. The royals will be at the game all night to meet all the princes and princesses Eugene has to offer, while parents can rejoice in knowing it is Kids Eat Free Wednesday presented by Carl's Jr. and Lone Pine Farms. Children 12 and under will receive a voucher when they enter the ball park good for a free hot dog, apple and 12 oz soda.
If you are not into happily ever after, but still want to catch a game come out to the park for Tall Boy Thursday and Animal House Night on Thursday, August 13. PK Park will transform into the Delta house, and fans will be treated to the most raucous night on the calendar! Tall Boy Thursday is presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon, and features $3 box seats and discounted 32 oz fountain Pepsi drinks. Fans can also enjoy a discount on PBR Tall Boys.
The Emeralds home stand continues on Friday as the Emeralds look back on the 90's during their seasonal Flashback Friday's presented by Northwest Toyota Dealers. Fans should root through their closets for their flashiest windbreaker and boy band t-shirts for 90's Night.
