TOLEDO, OH - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, open their four-game road trip in Toledo tonight against the Walleye.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP

Tonight's contest will mark the 23rd all-time matchup between the Jackals and the Walleye, and one of just two scheduled meetings this season. The Jackals have an all-time record of 10-10-2 in the previous 22 matchups. Toledo won four of five games last season, including the only game played in Toledo, 4-2, on April 4, 2015. Kyle Bonis had a three-point game, and Jeff Lerg made 28 saves for the win. The Jackals last win in Toledo was February 1, 2014. Elmira's last overall victory against the Walleye came on February 7, 2015. Taylor Stefishen recorded a goal and an assist and Colin Jacobs added an assist in the 3-2 win.
