Elmira Loans Gratchev To Binghamton

The Elmira Jackals announced Wednesday that they have loaned forward Maxime Gratchev to their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Gratchev, who is originally from Russia but grew up in Massachusetts, is third in the ECHL among rookies with 18 points. From Nov. 10 - present, Gratchev is tied for the league lead with teammate Tyler Donati and Charlotte Checkers forward Tyler Doig with 13 points in six games.

In the Jackals 11-3 win at Gwinnett on Nov. 14, Gratchev totaled an ECHL season- high six assists. He is the first Jackal to record six assists in a game since the team joined the ECHL.

The Gratchev loan comes the same day in which the Binghamton Senators announced that forward Ryan Keller was recalled by the Ottawa Senators.
