Daavettila Goes To Phantoms

Kalamazoo , MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Trent Daavettila has been loaned to the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League.

With 14 points (8 goals, 6 assists), Daavettila currently ranks third on the K-Wings in scoring.

This off-season, Daavettila participated in the rookie camp of the NHL's New York Rangers and started the season in the training camp of the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL.

Starting the season red-hot, Daavettila went on a six-game point streak from 10/25/09-11/08/09.

Daavettila becomes tenth K-Wings player this season to play in the AHL.

Back in action tonight, Kalamazoo will begin a brief two-game road swing against the Cincinnati Cyclones with a 7:30 p.m. face-off from the U.S. Bank Arena.

The K-Wings return home to Wings Stadium this Saturday, November 28th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Florida Everblades on Win-Win Night presented by Win-98.5.
