Edmonton, AB -The Edmonton Capitals are hosting their first ever Canada Day celebration. The July 1st game is an all-Canadian Golden Baseball League matchup against the Calgary Vipers with the first pitch set for 7 o'clock at TELUS Field. The evening will also feature a ceremonial first pitch from Olympic gold medalist Meaghan Mikkelson from the National Women's Hockey team. TELUS Field is also the perfect venue to cap off the night with a great vantage point for the City of Edmonton's fireworks show.

Families looking for Canada Day festivities can take advantage of this 4 for $44 Thursday. This deal includes 4 reserved grandstand tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 Pepsi for just $44. There will be face painters, balloon artists and all the usual family-fun activities at a Capitals home game. The first 2,000 fans to the ballpark will also receive a Canada mini-flag to celebrate our nation's birthday.

The Edmonton Capitals are Edmonton's first choice for professional baseball and family entertainment. Capitals season seats start at under $9 per game and are still on sale pro-rated to the end of the season. Individual game tickets are available for just $10 every game.
