Johnstown Chiefs (2-2-0) at Reading Royals (1-1-0) 7:05 p.m. ET
- Johnstown has won the last four meetings and is 32-24-6 all-time against Reading, including 5-4-1 in 2007-08.
- Reading is out scoring their opponents 4-2 in the third period.
- Chiefs' rookie Chris Mueller is tied for the team lead with two goals and three points.
- Royals' rookie Dan Rudisuela is tied for the team lead with two points (1g-1a).



South Carolina Stingrays (1-1-0) and Florida Everblades (2-1-0) 7:30 p.m. ET
- Florida won 5-3 on Friday against South Carolina to lead the series 1-0-0 this season and 43-24-11 overall.
- South Carolina is tied for eighth in the ECHL on the power play on the road with 14.3 percent (1-for-7).
- Mark Lee had three assists for the Everblades on Friday against South Carolina.
- Michael Dubuc recorded two assists for the Stingrays on Friday against Florida.



Dayton Bombers (2-0-0) at Cincinnati Cyclones (0-2-1) 7:30 p.m. ET
- Dayton won 5-4 in overtime on Oct. 18 against Cincinnati to lead the series 1-0-0 this season.
- Cincinnati ranks second in the ECHL with 5.33 goals per game.
- Jarret Lukin and Joe Van Culin each have two assists for the Bombers against Cincinnati.
- Thomas Beauregard and Matt Macdonald each have two points (1g-1a) for the Cyclones against Dayton.



Augusta Lynx (1-2-1) at Elmira Jackals (3-1-0) 7:35 p.m. ET
- Elmira won 4-3 in overtime on Friday against Augusta to lead the series 1-0-0 this season.
- Augusta ranks seventh in the ECHL on the penalty kill on the road with 83.3 percent (20-for-24).
- Tyler Donati leads the Jackals against Augusta with three assists and four points.
- Justin Keller scored a goal for the Lynx against Elmira on Friday.



Charlotte Checkers (1-2-0) at Mississippi Sea Wolves (2-1-0) 7 p.m. CT
- Mississippi won 5-2 on Friday against Charlotte to lead the season series 1-0-0 and improve to 6-7-0 overall.
- Charlotte is 1-0-0 when they are out shot by their opponents.
- Sea Wolves' Ryan Munce is 1-0-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .952 save percentage in one game.
- Joe Barnes leads the Checkers against Mississippi with two points (1g-1a).



Trenton Devils (0-3-0) at Wheeling Nailers (3-0-0) 8 p.m. ET

- Alaska ranks seventh in the ECHL on the penalty kill with 87.5 percent (14-for-16).
- Ryan Kinasewich and James Sixsmith each scored three points (1g-2a) for the Grizzlies against Alaska on Friday.
- Josh Soares scored two goals for the Aces against Utah on Friday.



Las Vegas Wranglers (1-2-1) at Ontario Reign (2-1-0) 7 p.m. PT
- Las Vegas won 4-1 on Friday against Ontario to tie the series 1-1-0.
- Ontario is 1-0-0 when scoring first.
- Bret Tyler leads the Wranglers against Ontario with four assists and four points.
- Geoff Walker leads the Reign against Las Vegas with three points (1g-2a).



Fresno Falcons (2-0-0) at Bakersfield Condors (1-2-0) 7 p.m. PT
- Fresno won 3-2 on Friday against Bakersfield to lead the season series 1-0-0 and improve to 22-16-8 overall.
- Bakersfield is tied for the league lead with two shorthand goals.
- Falcons' Joe Fallon is 1-0-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage in one game.
- Matt Pope leads the Condors against Fresno with two points (1g-1a).



Stockton Thunder (1-2-0) at Victoria Salmon Kings (1-3-0) 7:05 p.m. PT
- Stockton won 5-2 at Victoria on Friday to lead the season series 1-0-0 and improve to 7-10-3 overall.
- Victoria is out shooting their opponents 125-119.
- Justin Chwedoruk leads the Thunder against Victoria with three points (1g-2a).
- Dan Gendur leads the Salmon Kings against Stockton with two points (1g-1a).

- The ECHL celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08 and is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.
- ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league with 23 teams playing 828 games in 16 states and British Columbia in 2008-09.
- The Reading Royals, the City of Reading and the Sovereign Center will host the 17th Annual ECHL All-Star Game on Jan. 21, 2009 and the 12th Annual All-Star Skills Competition on Jan. 20, 2009.
- The league officially changed its name from East Coast Hockey League to ECHL on May 19, 2003.
- Affiliations with 26 of the 30 teams in the National Hockey League marking 12th consecutive season that the league has had affiliations with at least 20 teams in the NHL.
- 361 former ECHL players have played in NHL.
- 105 have played their first NHL game in the last four seasons.
- Six former ECHL players have made their NHL debut this season: former Wheeling Nailers and ECHL All-Star defenseman Paul Bissonnette (Pittsburgh on Oct. 4), former Trenton Devils right wing Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond (New Jersey on Oct. 22), former Charlotte Checkers defenseman Steve MacIntyre (Edmonton on Oct. 15), former Las Vegas Wranglers defenseman Adam Pardy (Calgary on Oct. 9), former Gwinnett Gladiators center Jared Ross (Philadelphia on Oct. 11) and former Dayton Bombers and Las Vegas Wranglers defenseman Tyler Sloan (Washington on Oct. 21).
- There were 72 former ECHL players on NHL opening-day rosters.
- Twenty-six former ECHL players made their NHL debut in 2007-08, including six who played in both the ECHL and the NHL as goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu (Alaska and St. Louis), Adam Berti (Pensacola and Chicago), Joe Jensen (Wheeling and Carolina), Dan LaCosta (Elmira and Columbus), Jonathan Quick (Reading and Los Angeles) and Danny Taylor (Reading and Los Angeles).
- Record 51 former ECHL players played their first NHL game in 2005-06.
- ECHL has been represented on last eight Stanley Cup champions.
- Former ECHL coaches working as head coaches in the NHL are Bruce Boudreau of the Washington Capitals, Scott Gordon of the New York Islanders and Peter Laviolette of the Carolina Hurricanes. Boudreau, who coached Mississippi for three seasons winning the Kelly Cup championship in 1999, was named NHL Coach of the Year in 2007-08 becoming the first former ECHL coach to receive the award. Laviolette, who began his coaching career with the Wheeling Nailers, led Carolina Hurricanes to the Stanley Cup in 2006.
- There are 15 assistant coaches in the NHL who were players or coaches in the ECHL.
- There are 18 former ECHL officials scheduled to work as part of the NHL officiating team in 2008-09 with referees David Banfield, Chris Ciamaga, Ghislain Hebert, Marc Joannette, Mike Leggo, Wes McCauley, Dean Morton, Dan O'Rourke, Brian Pochmara, Kevin Pollock, Kyle Rehman, Chris Rooney, Justin St. Pierre and Ian Walsh and linesmen Steve Barton, Brian Mach, Tim Nowak and Jay Sharrers. Barton, Joannette, Leggo, McCauley, Nowak, Pollock, Rooney and Sharrers all worked the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
- ECHL has affiliations with 25 of the 29 teams in the American Hockey League and for the past 19 years there has been an ECHL player on the Calder Cup Champion.
- In the last six seasons the ECHL has had more call-ups to the AHL than all other professional leagues combined with over 2,000 call-ups involving more than 1,000 players since 2002-03.
