
ECHL Announes Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Greenville's Escobedo fined, suspended
Greenville's Sean Escobedo has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #469, South Carolina at Greenville, on Feb. 7.
Escobedo is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of an unpenalized boarding penalty at 17:54 of the second period.
Escobedo will miss Greenville's game against South Carolina tonight (Feb. 10).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
South Carolina's Epp fined
South Carolina's Wade Epp has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #477, Gwinnett at South Carolina, on Feb. 8.
Epp was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for elbowing under Rule #45.5 at 12:39 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Florida's Lavoie suspended
Florida's Alex Lavoie has been suspended for one additional game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #468, Florida at Reading, on Feb. 7.
Lavoie was assessed a misconduct under Rule #75.4 at 18:49 of the first period.
Lavoie missed Florida's game at Reading on Feb. 8 and will miss Florida's game against Fort Wayne on Feb. 11.
Kalamazoo's Wilson suspended
Kalamazoo's Ben Wilson has been suspended for three additional games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #466, Kalamazoo at Fort Wayne, on Feb. 7.
Wilson was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding under Rule #41.5 at 11:45 of the second period.
Wilson missed Kalamazoo's game at Indy on Feb. 8 and will miss games at Orlando (Feb. 12) and at Florida (Feb. 13 and Feb 14).
Indy's Arseneau suspended
Indy's Vincent Arseneau has been suspended for one additional game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #465, Indy at Evansville, on Feb. 7.
Arsenseau was assessed a major penalty for charging under Rule #42.3 at 6:20 of the third period.
Arseneau missed Indy's game against Kalamazoo on Feb. 8 and will miss Indy's game at Cincinnati on Feb. 13.
