
ECHL Announces Fines, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.
San Francisco's Peckham, Bulls Organization fined
San Francisco's Theo Peckham has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions prior to ECHL Game #126, Stockton at San Francisco, on Nov. 9.
Peckham is fined under Rule #9.5 - Protective Equipment - for failing to wear his helmet during pre-game warm-ups.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Additionally, the San Francisco organization has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of all Players not wearing helmets during pre-game warm-ups.
Colorado's Schnell fined, suspended
Colorado's Ryan Schnell has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #123, Utah at Colorado, on Nov. 9.
Schnell was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #70.3 at 2:17 of the third period.
Schnell will miss Colorado's games vs. Utah (tonight), at Alaska (Nov. 14, Nov. 16 and Nov. 17) and vs. Florida (Nov. 21).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Utah's Wahl suspended
Utah's Mitch Wahl has been suspended indefinitely as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #123, Utah at Colorado, on Nov. 9.
Wahl is suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Wahl will miss Utah's game at Colorado (tonight) and will have a hearing with ECHL Hockey Operations next week.
Fort Wayne's Hayes fined
Fort Wayne's Colten Hayes has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #119, Evansville at Fort Wayne, on Nov. 9.
Hayes was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing under Rule #62.5 at 12:58 of the first period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
