ECHL Announces Fine, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fine and suspensions.

Evansville's Dunn suspended

Evansville's Vincent Dunn has been suspended for one game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #501, Evansville at Toledo, on Jan. 15.

Dunn is suspended as the result of his game misconduct under Rule #46.12 for instigating in the final five minutes of regulation.

Dunn will miss Evansville's game against Quad City tonight (Jan. 16).

Wichita's Lizon fined, suspended

Wichita's Erick Lizon has been suspended indefinitely and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #496, Wichita at Utah, on Jan. 15.

Lizon is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 10:53 of the third period.

Lizon will miss Wichita's games at Utah tonight (Jan. 16) and Monday (Jan. 19) and any further discipline will be announced next week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
