Eastern League All-Star Roster Changes Announced

PORTLAND, ME - The Eastern League has announced that there have been two changes made to the Northern Division roster for the 2007 Eastern League All-Star Game and one change made to the Southern Division roster.

On the Northern Division side two members of the host team, the Connecticut Defenders, have been added to the roster. Defenders closer Brian Anderson has been named to the roster in place of his teammate Alex Hinshaw. Another member of the Connecticut bullpen, Osiris Matos, has also been added to the roster in place of the Eastern League ERA and strikeout leader, Portland's Clay Buchholz.

The lone change made to the Southern Division roster is the addition of Senators reliever Brett Campbell, who has been named to the roster in place of Harrisburg starter Collin Balester.

The 2007 Eastern League All-Star Game will be played at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Connecticut on Wednesday, July 11th at 7:30 p.m. and the game will be televised on Comcast (CN8) and SportsNet New York (SNY) starting at 7:00 p.m.
