SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes (3-7-2; 11 pts.) face the Colorado Rapids (6-3-2; 20 pts.) at Dick's Sporting Goods Park tonight at 6 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Bay Area, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF.

San Jose holds an 30-23-17 all-time record against the Colorado Rapids, including a 13-15-8 record away from home. The Quakes seek their first victory at Dick's Sporting Goods Park since June 15, 2013.

San Jose has earned at least one point in three of their last five road matches during the 2021 season (1-2-2). The Quakes are led by 17-year-old forward Cade Cowell, who leads the club with four goals and three assists. His seven combined goals and assists are the highest among all American-born players in MLS.

Colorado currently occupies fourth place in the Western Conference standings. The Rapids have registered five clean sheets including four shutout victories in 2021, three of which were among their last five matches. Additionally, Colorado is currently averaging 2.17 goals per home game (most in MLS) and will look to extend their streak to 31 consecutive MLS matches with at least one goal scored.

Both teams will not be able to call on several players due to their participation with the U.S. Men's National Team in the Concacaf Gold Cup (COL: Kellyn Acosta, Jonathan Lewis, Sam Vines; SJ: Jackson Yueill).
