Earthquakes Face Real Salt Lake Today

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes (9-13-10; 37 pts.) face Real Salt Lake (13-12-6; 45 pts.) at Rio Tinto Stadium today at 12:30 p.m. PT . The match will be broadcast live on Univision, TUDN, Twitter, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF.

Today's match marks the penultimate match of the season for San Jose and the final contest on the road. The Quakes have earned 18 points on the road so far in 2021 (4-6-6), their most in a single season since 2012 (9-5-3; 30 pts.).

Real Salt Lake currently occupies the seventh and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. RSL holds a 9-2-4 home record this season, including wins in each of their last seven home matches.

The two teams have met twice this year, resulting in a 2-1 win for San Jose on May 7 and a 4-3 win for Real Salt Lake on Sept. 15. Both matches were won by the visiting team.
