SACRAMENTO, California - Sacramento scored three in the fourth inning to come from behind and defeat the New Orleans Zephyrs 4-2 in front of 6,925 fans at Raley Field.

The ballpark was rocking on Thursday night, literally. As Brian Flynn delivered a pitch to strikeout Scott Moore and end the sixth inning an earthquake hit. The quake was a 5.9 on the Richter scale and hit about 120 miles north of Sacramento. The ballpark shook a bit but the game resumed with no delay.

The River Cats sent eight batters to the plate in the fourth inning and scored three runs on four hits. Moore drilled a single to rightfield that scored a pair to give the Cats the lead. Sacramento added a run in the fifth inning to extend the lead to 4-2.

The Zephyrs offense rallied in the sixth and seventh but the River Cats pitching extinguished the rally. Bruce Billings the starter worked six innings allowed two runs on four hits. Brian Gordon pitched a solid inning and two thirds and worked out of the seventh inning jam.

Dan Otero pitched a perfect ninth inning for his eleventh save of the season. Z's starter Flynn worked six innings and allowed four runs on six hits. The Zephyrs split the four game set with Sacramento but dropped six of eight on the trip.
