INDIANAPOLIS -- Right-hander Bubbie Buzachero scattered two hits over four scoreless innings, while third baseman Andy Marte and shortstop Luis Rivas both smacked home runs as Buffalo recorded an 11-6 win over Indianapolis Wednesday afternoon at Victory Field.

The Bisons improve to 29-20 on the season and 18-11 on the road, while the Indians fall to 30-21 overall and 14-11 at home. Thursday will be the Tribe's 45th consecutive day atop the International League's West Division.

Buzachero (4.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 SO) settled for a no-decision despite being Buffalo's most effective pitcher.RHP Jake Dittler (3.1 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 1 SO) improved to 2-0 with the win in his longest relief appearance of 2007. RHP Matt Miller (0.2 IP, 1 H, 2 SO) -- who escaped a jam in the Tribe's three-run eighth inning -- RHP Edward Mujica (1.0 IP, 2 SO) then closed out the affair for the Bisons.

Buffalo had five hitters collect two or more hits in the contest. Rivas went 3-for-5 with three runs and one RBI, while DH Shin-Soo Choo also went 3-for-5 with two scores and two RBI. RF Franklin Gutierrez, 3B Andy Marte and LF Jason Cooper tallied two hits apiece, with Gutierrez and Marte each crossing the plate twice.

The Bisons cracked the scoreboard with a pair of runs in the second and never looked back. The next inning, Marte belted his third roundtripper of the campaign -- a three-run bomb to left -- to give Buffalo an early 5-0 advantage.

Indianapolis was held scoreless until the fifth when C David Parrish (2-for-4, 1 R, 2 RBI) crushed his first Triple-A homer of the season -- a two-run shot to left.

Rivas capped Buffalo's run production in the eighth with a solo shot to left as the visitors opened up an eight-run cushion.

The Indians rallied for three runs in the eighth when RF Michael Ryan (2-for-5, 2 R) scored on a wild pitch and DH Russ Johnson (1-for-4, 2 R) brought home two runs with a single to right.

The Tribe failed to mount a comeback in the ninth as Mujica struck out two batters in the final frame. .

Indians LHP Sean Burnett (3.0 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 3 BB, 1 SO) was pinned with the loss, falling to 4-4.

The two teams wrap up the four-game series on Thursday at 7 p.m. RHP Bryan Bullington is expected to take the hill for Indianapolis, while RHP Sean Smith is scheduled to start for Buffalo.

The contest will be carried by ESPN-950 AM and IndyIndians.com with Howard Kellman and Scott McCauley. The pre-game show begins at 6:40 p.m.

The Indians will celebrate the Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl XLI title as the Vince Lombardi Trophy makes a stop at Victory Field. Colts tight end Ben Utecht will sing the national anthem. Colts Cheerleaders and the team's mascot, Blue, will also be on hand for autographs and photos. The Colts In Motion trailer, which features interactive displays and memorabilia, will be parked in the center-field plaza throughout the evening.
