The Bulls play the finale of a three-game set against the Toledo Mud Hens in the second series of an eight-game road trip. Durham is 1-4 to begin the road swing after a series loss at Columbus (1-2) and two losses to open up this series, and is just 2-11 over its last 13 games after going 18-5 over its previous 23 contests. Durham enters today 4.0 games back of first place in the IL South, the furthest the team has been out of first place since 5/22/13, when it sat in second place and 4.0 games back of Norfolk. Toledo - the Detroit Tigers' top affiliate - is 4-4 over its last eight contests, with all four wins coming against Durham. The Mud Hens are in the midst of a 12-game stretch where they play only Norfolk and Durham, and are 7-4 over the first 11 games of that span.
