Ducks fall to Wolves, 3-2

ROSEMONT, IL - Joe Corvo scored the deciding goal with 5:20 remaining in the third period to lift the Chicago Wolves to a 3-2 victory over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Wednesday at Allstate Arena.

Coro, stationed high in the slot, took a feed from Greg Hawgood and fired a slapshot past Cincinnati goaltender Frederic Cassivi for his sixth goal of the season.

Corey Larose and J.P. Vigier also scored for the Wolves, who improved to 12-1-1-1 in their last 15 home games.

Michael Garnett, making his fourth straight start, stopped 16 shots for the win.

Chris Kunitz had both goals for Cincinnati, which snapped a three-game winning streak.

The Ducks face Houston Friday at 7:35 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens.
