
Drurys to Appear at Rent One Park on Hunting/Fishing Night August 7th

Marion, Ill. (July 30, 2014) - The Southern Illinois Miners announce that Matt and Taylor Drury of Drury Outdoors will appear at Rent One Park on Thursday, August 7th when the Miners host the Windy City Thunderbolts at 7:05 p.m. as part of Hunting & Fishing Night at the ballpark, presented by River Radio and Tombstone Gun Range.
The cousins will promote the sport of hunting and fishing, as well as their DVDs and other materials. They will also sign autographs for fans attending the festivities that night.
Drury Outdoors was started in 1989 by brothers Mark and Terry Drury. The company seeks to promote the sport of hunting and fishing by creating the most-entertaining, educational outdoor programming available, achieving this through their love and ethics for the sport and under "100% Wild, 100% Fair Chase ©" conditions.
Their programming can be seen on television on the Outdoor Channel nearly every day of the week, and also on Pursuit Network. The company also produces a line of DVDs that are sold at all major outdoor retailers.
Matt Drury (Terry's son) is the Brand Manager for Drury Outdoors, having worked there for 12 years, 10 since graduating from Missouri State University with a degree in Mass Media with an emphasis in Production. He runs the day-to-day business operations as well as the production in the studio of the company's four TV shows and three DVDs.
Taylor Drury (Mark's daughter) has grown up around the company her whole life. Now a college student, Taylor helps with Drury Outdoors' social media pages and also helps with on-air talent inside the show.
The Southern Illinois Miners are the 2012 Frontier League Champions and have been awarded the Frontier League Organization of the Year award three times since their inception.
