Salisbury, MD - Pitching was the name of the game for the Greenville Drive in Sunday's series finale against the Delmarva Shorebirds, as Luis Ramos and Jamie Callahan combined to blank the home team 4-0 to salvage a split of the four-game series.

In his fifth start since joining the Drive (26-30, 64-62), Ramos (2-3) delivered his finest outing to date, shutting down the Shorebirds (28-28, 61-63) for six innings and allowing just five hits and one walk with one strikeout.

Three was the magic number for Callahan, who threw three innings of relief with three punchouts to preserve the shutout and record his third save.

The Drive scored all four of their runs in the fifth inning against Delmarva starter Josh Walker (8-4). Joseph Monge doubled with one out, moved to third on a groundout and scored on a single by David Sopilka. Following another single, this one by Bryan Hudson, a Shorebirds error plated a second run, and a single by Danny Mars drove home two more.

Sopilka had two hits for the Drive on the afternoon, and Mars drove home a pair.

Following an off day, the Drive return home for a four-game series against the Greensboro Grasshoppers, affiliate of the Miami Marlins. First pitch at Fluor Field on Tuesday is set for 7:05 PM and will be delivered by RH Ben Taylor.
