Greenville Drive News Release

North Augusta, SC - Wednesday night's game between the Greenville Drive and Augusta GreenJackets was suspended due to rain in the bottom of the fourth inning with the GreenJackets leading 1-0.

The teams will resume the contest on Thursday at 5:30 PM in Augusta, and the regularly-scheduled nine inning game will follow.

Augusta scored the lone run of the game in the bottom of the second when Ryan Kirby doubled and came in on an RBI single by Orlando Garcia.

Enmanuel De Jesus allowed just that one run over three and two-third innings for the Drive while striking out two. Michael Osinski picked up the lone Greenville hit on Wednesday with a fourth inning single.

Thursday's regularly scheduled game should feature a pair of lefties squaring off on the mound, with Greenville's Jhonathan Diaz (2-5, 3.84) against Augusta's John Gavin (2-3, 1.72).
