Game Suspended until Tomorrow

North Augusta, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of San Francisco Giants, had their game suspended tonight against the Greenville Drive.

The GreenJackets were up 1-0 after Orlando Garcia singled to right field to score Ryan Kirby from third base in the second inning. On the mound for the GreenJackets, Garrett Cave went four innings striking out five Drive batters.

The game will resume at 5:30 pm tomorrow in the bottom of the fourth inning, with two out, no runners on, and Orlando Garcia at the plate. Following the completion of game one, the regular scheduled nine inning game between the GreenJackets and Drive will be played.

Tomorrow will have Tap Takeover Night and Thirsty Thursday. Friday the 29th will have Art in the Park as we celebrate.

On the 30th, the GreenJackets will welcome the Columbia Fireflires to town for a four game series. On Saturday June 30th, will have James Brown and Sharron Jones appreciation night. July 1st will have Hot Cars/ Hot Rods Car & Motor Show. On the 2nd, Mr./Ms. Most American Pageant/Celebration will be held at SRP Park. To wrap up the homestand, will have an Independence Day bash followed by a Fireworks Extravaganza.
