
Draw Delivers Round of 16 Matchups for 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League

Miami, FL - Concacaf today conducted the official draw for the 2022 edition of the Confederation's flagship club competition, the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL). The event was hosted by TUDN's sports anchor Ramses Sandoval and sports announcer Kaylyn Kyle.
Concacaf General Secretary Philippe Moggio, Director of Competitions Carlos Fernandez, Concacaf region legends Chris Wondolowski and Moises Muñoz, and a number of the club's head coaches also participated in the live event.
The 16 clubs participating in the 2022 SCCL have been divided into eight Round of 16 matchups as follows:
Matchup #1: Club Leon (MEX) vs CD Guastatoya (GUA)
Matchup #2: Seattle Sounders FC (USA) vs FC Motagua (HON)
Matchup #3: Colorado Rapids (USA) vs Comunicaciones FC (GUA)
Matchup #4: New York City FC (USA)vs Santos de Guapiles (CRC)
Matchup #5: Pumas UNAM (MEX) vs Deportivo Saprissa (CRC)
Matchup #6: New England Revolution (USA) vs Cavaly AS (HAI)
Matchup #7: CF Montreal (CAN) vs Club Santos Laguna (MEX)
Matchup #8: Cruz Azul (MEX) vs Hamilton Forge FC (CAN)
The 2022 SCCL will commence with the Round of 16 series between February 15-17 (first legs) and February 22-24 (second legs). The Round of 16 will be followed by home and away Quarterfinal matches in March and Semifinals in April. The two-legged final is scheduled for the last week of April (first leg) and the first week of May (second leg).
For the Round of 16, the clubs from Pot 1 (highest ranked) will play the first leg away and the second leg at home. For the Quarterfinals, the Round of 16 winners of matchups 1, 3, 5, and 7 will play the first leg away and the second leg at home.
For the Semifinals and Finals, the best performing clubs in the earlier rounds of the competition will play the first leg away and the second leg at home (based on wins, draws, and, if required, goal difference).
Concacaf will announce a complete schedule, including kickoff times and other details in the coming days.

Round of 16: February 15-17 (first legs) and February 22-24 (second legs)
Quarterfinals: March 8-10 (first legs) and March 15-17 (second legs)
Semifinals: April 5-7 (first legs) and April 12-14 (second legs)
Finals: April 26-28 (first leg) and May 3-5 (second leg)
