LAFC Announces 2022 Regular Season Schedule

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Major League Soccer (MLS) today announced the Club's 34-game schedule for the 2022 Major League Soccer regular season. LAFC will kick off its fifth season in MLS with back-to-back nationally televised home games from the Heart of Los Angeles, hosting the Colorado Rapids Feb. 26 at 12:30 p.m. PT on Univision and the Portland Timbers March 6 at 7:00 p.m. PT on FS1 from Banc of California Stadium.

2022 LAFC Season Memberships are the best way for fans to enjoy the games and the only way to guarantee a seat for all 17 of LAFC's home matches. LAFC makes its first cross-country trip of the season March 12 to take on Inter Miami at 10:30 am PT also on Univision. Other notable matchups on the schedule include the away (April 9) and home (July 8) matches against the crosstown rival Galaxy, and the first-ever meeting with 2022 MLS expansion team, Charlotte FC at home on Aug. 13. The schedule also features eight matches against Eastern Conference opponents, including home matches vs. Philadelphia (May 7), New York Red Bulls (June 26) and DC United (Aug. 17). LAFC makes its first-ever trip to Cincinnati on April 24.

Sixteen of the Black & Gold's regular season matches will be nationally televised, including four on FS1, three on ESPN, three on ABC, one on FOX and five on Univision/UniMás.

Single Match tickets will be made available for purchase in 2022. Fans can fill out the single game request form on the Single Match Tickets page to receive pre-sale access and guarantee a chance to purchase single match tickets when they go on sale. The Club will announce its 2022 promotional schedule and complete broadcast schedule at a later date.

To best align with the 2022 international soccer calendar, the MLS regular season will begin earlier than ever before, kicking off on Saturday, Feb. 26 and running through Decision Day, the regular season finale, on Sunday, Oct. 9. The Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs directly follow the regular season, with three consecutive weeks of action leading up to the 2022 MLS Cup on Saturday, Nov. 5, more than two weeks prior to the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Nov. 21.

The 2022 MLS regular season broadcast schedule features the largest network coverage in league history. A record 48 matches will air on network television across ABC, FOX, Univision and UniMás. MLS action will air on ABC nine times in 2022 with a total of 34 matches aired across ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2, all of which will also be available in Spanish on ESPN Deportes. FOX Sports will showcase 34 matches in the upcoming year, highlighted by 27 on FS1 and seven on FOX, with twice as many primetime windows as the network's 2021 slate of games. Additionally, all 34 matches will air in Spanish on FOX Deportes. Thirty-two matches will be broadcast in Spanish across Univision and UniMás

In addition, ESPN+ will stream all regional broadcasts nationally, out-of-market, in the U.S. and any nationally televised matches not aired by an English-language network will again be streamed live in English on Twitter.
