Dragons Place Means on D.L.; Activate Salinas

Dayton, Ohio-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster moves today:

Right-handed pitcher Doug Salinas has been activated from the disabled list.

Outfielder Andrew Means has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to July 26, with a wrist injury.

The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

Salinas began the 2010 season with the Dragons before going on the disabled list on June 5th with a shoulder injury. Salinas has appeared in 15 games in relief for the Dragons this season, posting a record of 3-2 with a 2.96 earned run average.

Means has appeared in 68 games with the Dragons this season, batting .261 with one home run and 20 runs batted in. He has also stolen 19 bases.

The Dragons host the Bowling Green Hot Rods tonight at Fifth Third Field at 7:00 p.m. (1410 WING; www.daytondragons.com). The game will be televised on WHIO Digital Channel 7.2.
