Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Quad Cities River Bandits (affiliate of the Houston Astros) in the first game of a three-game series. This is the first game of 12 consecutive meetings with West Division opponents for the Dragons. Season Series to Date: First meeting.
Recent Performances: The Dragons split a four-game series at Great Lakes Friday-Monday, winning games one and four. Quad Cities won three-of-four during the same period at home vs. Burlington, allowing two runs or less in each of their three wins.
Last Game: Monday: Dayton 5, Great Lakes 0. Packy Naughton tossed eight shutout innings, allowing just two base runners, while striking out nine. Naughton allowed two hits and no walks to earn the win. The Loons sent only man above the minimum to the plate in the game.
