Dragons Announce Roster Changes

DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:

Right-handed pitcher Daniel Tuttle has been placed on the disable list with a strained ligament in his right elbow.

Right-handed pitcher Carlos Gonzalez has been promoted to Dayton from Billings (Pioneer League).

The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

Tuttle suffered the injury while warming up for the Dragons game on Saturday night. He has made eight starts this season, going 1-3 with a 5.03 earned run average.

Gonzalez opened the season with the Dragons and made four appearances (three starts), going 0-2 with a 6.43 ERA. He has appeared in one game with Billings this season, tossing two perfect innings with four strikeouts on June 22.

The Dragons host the Lake County Captains tonight at 7:00 p.m. (WONE 980 AM) in the last game of a six-game home stand at Fifth Third Field.
