Dragons Add Joe Terry to Roster

DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:

Right-handed pitcher Johnny Cueto completed his Midwest League injury rehabilitation assignment.

Infielder Joe Terry has been sent to Dayton from Bakersfield (Advanced-A, California League).

The Dragons roster currently stands at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

Cueto made two Major League injury rehab starts for the Dragons.

Terry spent most of the 2012 season with the Dragons, primarily as a second baseman. He appeared in 83 games, batting .255 with 15 doubles, four triples, six home runs, and 36 runs batted in. He also stole 22 bases in 29 tries. At Bakersfield this season, Terry has appeared in 15 games, batting .184 with no home runs and three runs batted in. Terry was the Reds 30th round draft pick in 2011 out of Cal State Fullerton.

The Dragons host the West Michigan Whitecaps tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field. The series and homestand will conclude on Thursday at 7:00. Thursday's game will be televised on WHIO Digital Channel 7.2 and Time Warner Cable channels 23 and 372.
