Doyle's Walk-Off Dinger Lifts Isotopes Over Dodgers, 4-3

Albuquerque, NM - With the game tied, 3-3, Brenton Doyle led off the bottom of the ninth inning and sent a 2-2 pitch 429 ft. to center field to complete the Isotopes first walk-off win, 4-3, of the season Friday night at RGCU Field.

Topes Scope: - The Isotopes tallied their first walk-off victory of the season and their first since Sept. 14, 2022, when Coco Montes connected on an RBI double in the seventh inning of game two against the Oklahoma City Dodgers. It is Albuquerque's first walk-off homer since Alan Trejo's walk-off grand slam June 28, 2022, vs. Sugar Land.

- Doyle's blast left the bat at 105.2 MPH and had a 35-degree launch angle. The outfielder has three homers in four games, including two-straight. He extended his hitting streak to four games. During the span, he is hitting .444 (8x18) with one double, five RBI and three multi-hit efforts. On the season, he has five multi-hit contests.

-Nolan Jones extended his hitting streak to seven games. During the span, he is slashing .433/.528/.767 with one double, three homers, 12 RBI and six walks. He has four multi-hit contests over those six games, all coming in four-straight games played (April 9-19).

-Riley Pint worked a season-high 2.0 innings while fanning four, also a season-high. The four strikeouts are the most in a game since May 28, 2021, with High-A Spokane when he struck out five over 2.0 frames.

-Randal Grichuk went 1-for-4 with an RBI double in his third rehab game with the Isotopes. Over those three games, he is 2-for-12 with three walks, a double, three RBI and four runs.

-Grayson Greiner collected his second multi-hit effort of the year after recording two singles.

-Coco Montes' 16 game on-base streak came to an end after a 0-for-4 night. During the span he slashed .385 (25x65) with seven doubles, two triples, four homers, 18 RBI and 11 walks.

-Daniel Montano drew two walks tonight for the first time since Sept. 14, 2022, with Double-A Hartford. He has reached base in nine of 13 games with the Isotopes this year.

-Fernando Abad earned his second win of the season after fanning three in the ninth inning.

-Connor Kaiser's seven-game hitting streak came to an end after a 0-for-4 night.

-The Isotopes won a game scoring fewer than five runs for the first time since Sept. 28, 2022, when the Isotopes beat El Paso, 4-3, the last game of the 2022 season.

-Albuquerque pitchers combined to strike out 14 Dodger hitters, the most in a game this season and most since May 21, 2022, when the Isotopes fanned 15 at Sugar Land.

-The Isotopes streak of plating at least five runs in a contest was halted at 11 games.

On Deck: The Isotopes and Dodgers will square off in game five of the series Saturday at 6:35 pm at RGCU Field. Albuquerque is scheduled to start Connor Seabold while Oklahoma City is slated to start Gavin Stone.
