The Salem Avalanche and Wilmington Blue Rocks doubleheader scheduled for Friday, September 1st has been cancelled due to rain.
There is no make-up date due to the fact that the two clubs do not face each other for the remainder of the regular season.
The Avalanche take on Lynchburg Saturday, September 2nd at 7:07 PM in Game One of a three-game series. The first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a Moises Alou Bobblehead Doll courtesy of Swearingen Software.
The gates will also open at 5:30 PM for Saturday Night Live featuring the Rock Hounds.
