June 6, 2018 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Sacramento River Cats News Release
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA - Dorados de Sacramento (29-30) drew seven walks in the final two innings en route to a 7-4 victory over the Oklahoma City Dodgers (33-21) to begin the homestand.
Lefty Daniel Camarena pitched 5.2 scoreless innings and struck out four as his ERA continues to fall, now 0.51 through 17.2 innings. Since allowing a run to Albuquerque in the second inning of his first outing with the River Cats, he's tossed 16 consecutive shutout frames.
Center fielder Steven Duggar launched an opposite-field, two-run homer in the fifth inning to extend Sacramento's lead to three, but the Dodgers would rally to tie the game with three runs on three hits in the seventh. The Dorados bounced back with three of their own in the bottom half of the seventh, taking advantage of three bases-loaded walks.
Right-hander Tyler Beede (2-5, 6.23) will be on the bump for Sacramento facing Oklahoma City righty Manny Banuelos (5-3, 3.24) in game two of this three-game series. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. (PT). Catch all of the action live online at rivercats.com, on the MiLB First Pitch app, and on the air on Money 105.FM.
