FREDERICK, MD (JUNE 25, 2011) - Adam Donachie blasted two home runs and the Keys avoided a Winston-Salem sweep with a 6-2 win on Saturday night at Harry Grove Stadium. The loss was the Dash's first of the second half and it ended the team's three-game winning streak. Frederick ended its six-game skid with the win.

Tyler Saladino got Winston-Salem (2-1, 34-39) off to a good start, homering on the third pitch of the game from Nick Haughian to give the Dash a 1-0 lead. The home run was Saladino's sixth of the season.

Frederick (1-2, 42-30) answered in the second against Ryan Buch. With two runners aboard, Donachie hit the ninth pitch he saw from Buch over the fence in left for a three-run home run to give the Keys their first lead of the series.

Donachie went deep for the second time in the fourth inning, this time a two-run shot on Buch's seventh pitch of the at bat, to make it 5-1 Frederick.

The Keys scored an insurance run in the eighth inning off Taylor Thompson with a ground-rule RBI double by Miguel Abreu. Winston scored in the ninth on Andy Wilkins' RBI single to cut the deficit to four runs. With two runners aboard, Frederick brought in closer Sean Gleason. The right-hander retired the only two men he faced to register his league-leading 19th save of the season.

The win went to Haughian (4-4) who allowed one run over seven-plus innings. Buch (2-4) took the loss after giving up five runs in four innings.
