'Dogs Begin Six-Game Road Trip this Week

Coming off their fifth three-games-in-three-nights weekend of the season, the Hamilton Bulldogs (20-18-0-4) will hit the road for the first two games of a six-game road trip this weekend.

On Friday, January 31st and Saturday, February 1st, the Bulldogs will be in Abbotsford, British Columbia to take on the Abbotsford Heat (American Hockey League affiliate of the Calgary Flames) in 10:00 p.m. ET starts on both nights. The games with be the fifth and sixth meetings between Hamilton and Abbotsford this season.

In a game that featured eight goals and seven fights, the Hamilton Bulldogs came out on top over the Lake Erie Monsters 6-2 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio for their sixth straight road win. The Bulldogs benefited from a balanced attack with six different goal scorers, led by Sven Andrighetto and Christian Thomas with a goal and an assist each. Robert Mayer made 28 saves in the win.

PINK IN THE RINK

The Bulldogs' annual Pink in the Rink Night, sponsored by Shoppers Drug Mart in support of Juravinski Cancer Centre, will be on Saturday, February 15th as Hamilton takes on the Texas Stars at 7:00 p.m. at Copps Coliseum. The game will feature the 'Dogs third and final specialty jersey of the season.

FAMILY DAY GAME

The Bulldogs will host the San Antonio Rampage in a special 1:00 p.m. start at Copps Coliseum for Family Day on Monday, February 17th. The game will be sponsored by Fortinos, where you can purchase $12 blue-section tickets at any of their Hamilton area locations.

DSKATE NIGHT / JDRF JERSEY AUCTION

HAMILTON BULLDOGS HOCKEY HOUR

Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Hour is an interactive one-hour radio show on AM 900 CHML co-hosted by Hamilton Bulldogs Play-By-Play Announcer Derek Wills and Colour Commentator Al Craig. It consists of segments such as week-in-reviews, week-in-previews and live interviews with Hamilton Bulldogs coaches and players. The next show is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25th.

During each show, fans have an opportunity to ask guests questions on the air, get autographs and win prizes. The show is hosted at Frank and Teressa's Anchor Bar, located at 2 King Street West inside Jackson Square in Hamilton.
