Hartford Wolf Pack News Release
The Wolf Pack (14-22-0-5, 33 pts.) started the second half of their season with wins in two out of three games this past week. The Pack defeated the Springfield Falcons for the first time in seven games between the two teams Friday night, handing the Northeast Division leaders a 5-2 defeat at the XL Center. The St. John's IceCaps came into Hartford and registered a 6-2 win on Saturday night, but the Wolf Pack rebounded Sunday, scoring the final five goals of the game after falling behind 3-1 at Adirondack, on the way to a 6-3 victory. Jesper Fast had back-to-back two-goal games Saturday and Sunday, and five goals in the three games, and Oscar Lindberg (2-3-5), Danny Syvret (1-4-5) and J.T. Miller (0-5-5) all also had five points each on the weekend.

This week:
The Wolf Pack have three home games this week, starting with a Wednesday-night rematch with Adirondack at 7:00. The Providence Bruins then come to town on Friday for a 7:00 game, before the Wolf Pack welcome the Albany Devils on "Pink in the Rink" Night Saturday (7:00).
Wednesday, January 29 vs. the Adirondack Phantoms at the XL Center, 7:00 PM
- Every Wednesday night Wolf Pack home game this season is a "Winning Wednesday". At all Wednesday night home games, if the Wolf Pack win, each fan receives a free ticket to the Pack's next home game (some restrictions apply, check the Wolf Pack's official website, www.hartfordwolfpack.com, for full details).
- This is the second half of a home-and-home set between the Wolf Pack and Phantoms, after the Pack invaded the Glens Falls Civic Center and won 6-3 on Sunday. The Wolf Pack are now 4-1-0-1 in the season series against Adirondack, with a win and a shootout loss in two home games vs. the Phantoms. - Tye McGinn scored twice for Adirondack in Sunday's game against the Wolf Pack, and Phantom leading scorer Jason Akeson (15-21-36 in 41 GP) had the other Phantom goal. - The Phantoms, who have now lost four of their last five games, are 21-18-0-2 on the year for 44 points, third in the Northeast Division and six points out of an Eastern Conference playoff spot.

Friday, January 31 vs. the Providence Bruins at the XL Center, 7:00 PM
- At this and all Friday-night Wolf Pack home games this year, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers at the XL Center through the start of the second period, presented by Marc's Appliance Warehouse, located at 75 Prospect Ave., Hartford, CT.
- "Hawk's Nest" returns to the XL Center's Comcast Coliseum Club for this game, with Bob "Hawk" Crawford, the play-by-play voice of the Wolf Pack, conducting a Wolf Pack-themed interview from 6:00-6:20 PM. Questions and comments will be welcomed from the patrons enjoying the Comcast Coliseum Club's wide array of dining and beverage options. The Comcast Coliseum Club restaurant and bar area is open two hours prior to every Wolf Pack home game, to everyone holding a ticket to the game.
- This is the third game of the season series between the Wolf Pack and Bruins, and the Pack dropped the first two by a combined score of 14-5. Providence won 8-5 at the XL Center November 8 and then blanked the Pack 6-0 November 10 in Providence.
- The Bruins currently stand third in the Atlantic Division, and tied for eighth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 22-17-1-5 for 50 points, after losing four of their last five games.
- The Bruins' leading scorer is veteran Nick Johnson, who has totaled 16-17-33 in 36 games.

Saturday, February 1 vs. the Albany Devils at the XL Center, 7:00 PM
- This is the Wolf Pack's "Pink in the Rink" Night, as the Wolf Pack strive to "Save the Top Shelf" and help battle breast cancer. The Wolf Pack will wear special pink-accented jerseys, and the jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit the Connecticut affiliate of Susan G. Komen. Also, fans can take advantage of a special ticket package that includes a distinctive "Save the Top Shelf" t-shirt. The package is priced at $25, and shirts are available in Medium, Large and X-Large sizes. The Save the Top Shelf t-shirts are also available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds from those sales going to Komen Connecticut. More information can be found at SaveTheTopShelf.com.
- The Pink in the Rink theme will include concessions and the Comcast Coliseum Club as well. The concession stands will be offering pink popcorn, pink cotton candy and pink lemonade, and the Coliseum Club menu will feature cherry plank salmon with pink sauce, pink grapefruit salad and pink lobster bisque.
- The Wolf Pack have lost their last four meetings against the Devils, after winning the first battle. Hartford is 1-1-0-0 at home vs. Albany, having won 4-3 on October 6 and lost 3-0 November 15.
- The Devils have gone 0-3-0-1 in their last four games, but are still nine games above .500 at 23-14-3-3 for 52 points. Albany is second in the Northeast Division, nine points behind Springfield, and is tied for fifth in the Eastern Conference.
- Albany defenseman Brandon Burlon has 2-2-4 in five games against the Wolf Pack and 1-4-5 in 33 games against the rest of the AHL.

The Wolf Pack's tenth annual "Tip-a-Player" Dinner and Sports Carnival is coming up Tuesday, February 18th at the XL Center, from 6-9 PM. All proceeds from the event benefit Gaylord Specialty Healthcare of Wallingford, CT. At Tip-a-Player, the Pack players will be waiting tables, signing autographs and joining fans in healthy competition in the sports carnival, which features an array of inflatables and other assorted lively fun.
