Blackhawks Recall Pirri

Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled forward Brandon Pirri from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Pirri, 22, has recorded 11 points (6g-5a) in 24 games this season with the Blackhawks. He scored his first career NHL goal on Oct. 17 vs. St. Louis, set a career-high with two points (1g-1a) on Oct. 19 vs. Toronto and posted a career-best two assists on Oct. 28 at Minnesota.

Pirri registered his 200th career pro point in the IceHogs 2-1 win on Saturday. The fourth year pro is Rockford's all-time point producer with 187 points (61g-126a) and has 13 points (4g-9a) in 16 games with the IceHogs this season.

The Toronto, Ontario, native has appeared in 31 career NHL games with Chicago, registering 13 points (6g-7a) in those contests.

Pirri was selected by the Blackhawks in the second round, 59th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
