B-Sens Recall Hobbs from Jackals

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today they have recalled forward Danny Hobbs from its East Coast Hockey League affiliate the Elmira Jackals.

Hobbs, 24, has appeared in 38 this season with the Jackals notching 11 goals and 11 assists along with 22 penalty minutes. The Shawville, Quebec native made his professional hockey debut during the 2012-2013 season with Greenville of the ECHL, tallying nine goals and 22 assists in 53 games played.

Prior to his professional career, Hobbs played collegiately at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst of the Hockey East league. In 120 games with UMass-Amherst, Hobbs collected 63 points (28 goals, 35 assists) and 76 penalty minutes.

Binghamton returns to action Wednesday in Worcester for a 7:00p.m. matchup versus the Sharks.
