EL PASO, TX- The Diablos rebounded from a suspended game on Monday to post victories of 5-2 and 4-1 against the visiting Worcester Tornadoes, splitting the series behind two rock solid starts from Scott Hodsdon and Freddy Flores.

Hodsdon (5-1) won game one of the twin bill by throwing seven and two thirds innings, striking out five and allowing just two runs before giving way to the bullpen in the eighth. Hodsdon was backed by a four run first inning, as El Paso got RBI hits from Mitch Einertson, Welington Dotel and Daniel Nelson. Nelson also knocked in the Diablos' fifth run of the game with a groundout, finishing the contest with a team high three RBI's.

Marcel Prado earned the save in game one and another in game two.

In the second game, a seven inning contest due to American Association rules, Freddy Flores (3-2) nearly matched Hodsdon pitch for pitch. Flores came within three outs of a complete game, with manager Tim Johnson lifting him in the ninth after allowing two base hits to begin the inning. Flores went six innings allowing just one run and did not allow a walk.

Jonathan Cisneros and J.J. Muse provided the big hits for El Paso in game two, with Cisneros going 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, while Muse's two-run double extended the Diablos' lead to 4-1.

El Paso is 18-31 heading into a six game road trip at Lincoln and Amarillo.
