Myrow Hits for Cycle against Lemurs

Laredo, TX - The Grand Prairie Airhogs (37-14) put together a six run first, that included four hits and two homeruns ina 10-6 win against the Laredo Lemurs (21-28) on Tuesday night at Uni-Trade Stadium.

Brian Myrow led the way for the Airhogs as he hit for the cycle with a triple in the first, a single in the second, a homerun in the fourth, and a double in the sixth. Myrow finished the night four for five, with two runs scored, and two RBI. Myrow completed the cycle in his first four at bats of the night.

For the Lemurs Javier Brito went three for five with two runs and an RBI.

Lemurs starting pitcher Manny Ayala (2-4) was roughed up for his second straight outing going one inning, giving up six runs on four hits, giving up two homeruns in the loss.

Nick DeBarr (9-2) earned his fourth straight win against the Lemurs as he pitched six, giving up six runs, one earned run, on nine hits.

The Lemurs will welcome the Amarillo Sox into Uni-Trade Stadium tomorrow night to start a four game series. The Lemurs are home through July 17th .
