With two outs in the ninth, the Cats rallied to tie the game as Michael Bell singled and Allen hit a sinking line drive which skipped past Alvarez to the wall for a game-tying RBI double.
The game remained tied 3-3 until the top of the 13th when Juan Camacho walked to lead off the inning and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt. After Jeff Vincent also drew a walk, Rodriguez double to right, scoring both for a 5-3 El Paso lead.
