Fort Worth Cats and Partners Announce Fan Appreciation Weekend and Playoffs

As the Fort Worth Cats wind down the 2014 regular season and start the playoffs, they are announcing a fan appreciation weekend, beginning Thursday, August 14, featuring giveaways of uniquely Fort Worth gifts and Cats' items. This will begin Thursday, August 14 and concluding with fireworks for both of their home playoff games on Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17.
The fireworks are sponsored by Dr Pepper, 95.9 The Ranch and 92.1 Hank FM as the Cats seek their 17th league championship in a best of five series against the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings. The championship series begins Saturday (7:05 pm) and Sunday (6:05 pm) at LaGrave Field. Game three, as well as games four and five (if necessary) will be played August 19 through 21 (7:05 pm) at Harlingen Field, home of the WhiteWings.
Cats' fans will have chances to win fantastic prizes in the last two regular season games beginning Thursday, when the Cats host the Brownsville Charros, through the two home playoff games. These giveaways include team posters, airline tickets, cruise tickets, and unique Fort Worth giveaways presented by Taylor Rentals. There will also be a postgame concert Thursday night by Infinite Journey, a Journey cover band. All of this will be capped off with postgame fireworks following both postseason games on Saturday and Sunday.
The weekend will feature the following fan appreciation themes:
-Thursday, August 14 (7:05 pm): Take a journey with the Cats and Infinite Journey, sponsored by CheapOAir.com. The Cats will give away the official 2014 team poster, as well as Cats' merchandise, concession items, and weekend tickets. The night will conclude with a giveaway of two Allegiant Airlines round-trip tickets to Las Vegas (from Austin, TX) and a postgame concert at the Rahr Bar by Infinite Journey, a Journey cover band, presented by the good people at CheapOAir.com.
-Friday, August 15 (7:05 pm): Go Cruising with the Cats and you're eligible for uniquely Fort Worth gifts and a chance to win free cruise tickets, sponsored by R. Holt & Associates, Cruise One, and Taylor Rentals. Starting Friday and continuing through Sunday, the Cats will give away tickets to the Coyote Drive-In, Waterchase Golf Course, the Fort Worth Zoo, The Fort Worth Stock Show, the Colonial Golf Tournament, the Armed Forces Bowl and a TCU football game. In addition, the Cats will give away three sets of cruise tickets for two, thanks to our friends at R. Holt & Associates and Cruise One.
-Saturday, August 16 (7:05 pm) and Sunday, August 17 (6:05 pm): Championship Series Games One and Two: Uniquely Fort Worth gifts and fireworks sponsored by Dr Pepper, 95.9 The Ranch and 92.1 Hank FM. In addition, every fan will get the opportunity to win great uniquely Fort Worth prizes referenced above and bid on Cats' game worn home and away jerseys used this season. Each of the nights will conclude with postgame fireworks presented by Dr Pepper, 95.9 The Ranch and 92.1 Hank FM.
