It's Fan Appreciation Friday tonight as your Fort Worth Cats host the Brownsville Charros in the 2014 regular season finale. First pitch is set for 7:05 pm.

Starting Friday and continuing through Sunday, the Cats will be giving away uniquely Fort Worth gifts, such as tickets to the Coyote Drive-In, Waterchase Golf Course, the Fort Worth Zoo, The Fort Worth Stock Show, the Colonial Golf Tournament, the Armed Forces Bowl and a TCU football game.
The Fort Worth Cats proudly announce the signing of Luca Choppy (first pitch & honorary bat boy), Ralph Choppy (first base coach) and 105.3 the Fan's R.J. Choppy (first pitch catcher & PA announcer) for tonight's matchup.
The Choppy signings are believed to be the first 3-generation signing in baseball history and many scouts are expected to be in the crowd to watch Luca's first pitch. The Choppys' appearance is sponsored by Smokeys Barbeque and in honor of the night they will be serving RJ Choppy Chopped Beef Sandwiches, which include 2 playoff tickets with each sandwich purchased.

The Cats are seeking their 17th league championship in a best of five series that concludes with games 3 through 5 in Harlingen on August 19-21.
