Devin Twins Reunite as Stingrays Add Defenseman Mike Devin

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 22 seasons of hockey in the Lowcountry, signed defenseman Mike Devin, Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Spencer Carbery announced today.

Devin, the twin brother of Stingrays forward Joe Devin, joins the Stingrays after dressing in 48 games with the Coventry Blaze of the ELITE Ice Hockey League (EIHL) in the United Kingdom last season adding five goals and 13 assists for 18 points. The Scituate, Massachusetts, native skated with Joe during the 2012-13 season with Riessersee SC in Germany and against him in 2011-12 as a member of the Elmira Jackals (65 games scoring 6 points) while Joe was with the Cincinnati Cyclones.

The two attended Cornell University together from 2007-11 with Mike totaling 54 points (15 goals and 39 assists) in 132 contests.

The Stingrays continue a five-game homestand on Friday, November 7 at 7:05 against the Florida Everblades at the North Charleston Coliseum.
