Southwest Michigan Devil Rays News Release
The Southwest Michigan Devil Rays begin a four-game homestand against the Western Division Wild Card winner, the Clinton LumberKings on Monday, July 4. Clinton, a Texas Rangers affiliate, will be making their only trip to Southwest Michigan from July 4-7. The Devil Rays are currently in the middle of a seven-game road trip through Lansing and Kane County. The Rays are still second in the league in batting average but third from the bottom in team earned run average. Southwest Michigan is presenting the best, hassle-free fireworks display in Southwest Michigan after the July 4 game at 7:05 p.m. There is no charge for parking and tickets begin as low as $4. The homestand also features Penny Hot Dogs, Day Camp Day and Thirsty Thursday.

MONDAY, JULY 4, 7:05 p.m. -- Independence Day Fireworks! All fans will get to enjoy an extra-long Fireworks display to celebrate the nation's Independence. The day is sponsored by Channel 3, Super Rock 104.9, WBCK AM 930, 1400 AM and Hometown Gazette East.
TUESDAY, JULY 5, 7:05 p.m. -- Penny Hot Dog Night. Red Hot Chicago Hot Dogs are one cent until the fifth inning. A pre-game Hot Dog eating contest will occur in the Johan Santana 3rd base picnic area courtesy of WIN 98.5.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 6, 11:05 a.m. -- Day Camp/Senior Day. Burnham Brook presents the final 11:05 a.m. game of 2005. Specially discounted tickets are available for Summer Camps, Day Camps and Senior groups on this day. There will also be health screening available at C.O. Brown Stadium on this day.
THURSDAY, JULY 7, 7:05 p.m. -- Thirsty Thursday. Selected draft beer and fountain pop are $1 until the end of the seventh inning. Lukas D will perform live music in the left field bar following the game. The night is sponsored by Super Rock 104.9.
