
Desmond Jennings to Rehab with Durham

The Tampa Bay Rays have announced that Desmond Jennings will continue his rehab assignment with the Durham Bulls. Jennings was placed on the MLB disabled list with a left knee sprain on May 12th. The 10th round draft pick by the Rays in the 2006 June draft spent parts of the last three seasons with the Bulls and compiled a .283 (241-for-851) average with 18 HR, 98 RBI and 69 stolen bases. He was named a 2011 International League midseason All-star as well as was voted as the most exciting player in the league by IL manager's for a second straight year.
