TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons square off with the Toledo Mud Hens in the first game of a four-game series at Fifth Third Field (7:00 p.m.). The Herd was shutout by the Clippers in the finale of their modern-era record 16-game homestand yesterday afternoon.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN: The Bisons are on the road for the first time since May 14. During its last eight-game road swing, May 5-14, the Herd went 5-3 at Gwinnett and Charlotte. Buffalo went 9-7 during their modern-era record long 16-game homestand. The Bisons will return to Coca-Cola Field on June 9 against the Norfolk Tides and the Pawtucket Red Sox.

vs. HENS: The Bisons have yet to take on Toledo this season. In 2011, the Herd split the season series with the Mud Hens (4-4). Since their return to the International League in 1998, Buffalo has a .500 record at Fifth Third Field (28-28), but only 1-11 there since becoming the Mets affiliate in 2009.

WE ARE FAMILIA: RHP JEURYS FAMILIA takes the ball tonight for the 11th time this year. In his last outing, May 25 vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, the righty allowed four runs in two innings of a no-decision (1K). On the road, this season, Familia is 3-0 with a 3.18ERA and 26 strikeouts in 22.2 innings of work. In all four of his starts away from Coca-Cola Field, Familia has allowed just one run in each outing.

VOTE HERD: After the first week of fan voting for the All-Star Game, RHP MATT HARVEY leads all starting pitchers in votes. The recently promoted SS OMAR QUINTANILLA also leads all shortstops. 1B JOSH SATIN, 3B ZACH LUTZ, DH VALENTINO PASCUCCI, OF MATT TUIASOSOPO and RP FERNANDO CABRERA all rank in the top 3 at their positions.

BISONS NOTES: RHP CHRIS YOUNG threw 6.0 innings of shutout baseball in his debut with the Herd yesterday. Young allowed only two hits to go along with two strikeouts and three walks...OF VALENTINO PASCUCCI has reached base in 25 straight games, the longest active streak in the IL. Since May 5 he has hit .262 (22-84) with 20 walks...The Bisons are 4-0 this year in games after they have been shutout.

METS UPDATE : The Mets (28-23) were off yesterday. Tonight, New York will begin a four-game series with the St. Louis Cardinals at Citi Field (7:10 p.m.). LHP JOHAN SANTANA takes the hill following a complete game shutout of the Padres in his last outing. INF DAVID WRIGHT is third in the NL with a .365 batting average.
