The IronPigs (30-24) return home to start an eight-game homestand with Game One of a four-game series against the first-place Pawtucket Red Sox (34-21) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 14-4 win last night, the Pigs have won back-to-back games following their season-high, six-game losing streak and finished 2-6 on the eight-game South Division road trip. Prior to the official start of the trip, the Pigs had gone 10-3 in their prior 13 contests to reach a high-water mark of 10-games above .500 on May 23... The Red Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- lost last night 2-0 to Norfolk to split the four-game, home series. Still, the Paw Sox finished 5-3 on the homestand and have gone 18-9 in their last 27 affairs since May 4.

RHP Scott Elarton (5-2, 3.44) will start for LHV against former IronPigs/Phillise RHP Brandon Duckworth (5-1, 4.22).

Tonight's game features Friday Night Fireworks, as presented by Menchie's... First-Pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

A CASE OF THE RUNS!:

Last night, the Pigs scored 14 runs -- LHV's second-highest all-time total and largest since the franchise record of 16 in a 16-6 win on 6/16/09 @ DUR... The Pigs have scored 13 R once, as well, in a 13-3 win on 4/24/09 vs. PAW.

* The 8 R in the T9 tied the Pigs all-time high total for one inning. They also scored 8 in the T2 on 4/13/10 @ PAW.

* The Pigs two-game total of 20 R the last 2 nights is tied for LHV's second-most all-time (4x)... Record is 24, 6/15/09-6/16/09).

* The Pigs had 3 more multi-run innings... they've now had 7 in the 36 innings (4 G) of this series after just 2 in previous 86 frames
