Medicine Hat, AB - Medicine Hat Tigers are very pleased to announce they have reached the $10,000.00 mark in their fund raising effort with Dusters For Dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society.
With the self imposed fund raising deadline of today, Tigers' general manager and head coach will loose his trademark mustache on Friday, November 27, 2009, upon his return from the SUBWAY© Super Series currently underway in Victoria and Kelowna, BC.
The shaving will be conducted by Tigers' captain and assistant captain, Wacey Hamilton and Bretton Cameron on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 4:30 pm in the Tiger's dressing room. This will be the first time in over thirty years Willie will be without a mustache.
The fund raising campaign will continue until November 30th when a total amount raised from Dusters For Dollars will be announced. The Tigers and the Canadian Cancer Society graciously thank all those who have contributed to this very worthy cause.
