There are still tickets available for the Kelowna game on Thursday. The Rockets are hoping to sell the game out and show Hockey Canada that the city is a great place for future high level events.

"We brought this game to Kelowna because we wanted it for our fans," said Rockets president and general manager Bruce Hamilton. "We want to sell the place out and show everyone in the country that Kelowna can support events of this magnitude and bigger."

Tickets are available through www.selectyourtickets.com.

The two teams - with four representatives of the Kelowna Rockets taking part - will meet in Victoria Wednesday and in Kelowna on Thursday night to conclude the series, an advance set of games as both teams look to select its team to play in this years World Junior Hockey Tournament.

Rockets defenceman Tyson Barrie will play in both games, lacing his skates in his home town of Victoria Wednesday before playing in his adopted home of Kelowna on Thursday.

Speedy Brandon McMillan will also represent the Team WHL playing Thursday night and hoping to attract the attention of Hockey Canada officials who will be watching closely prior to its selection camp in December.

Rockets head coach Ryan Huska is an assistant coach while athletic therapist Jeff Thorburn is also a staff member for Team WHL.

"It's definitely an honour for me to be taking part in this game," said Huska. "It should be a treat for our fans to see some of the best junior hockey players each country has to offer."
