Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League, announce Derek Stewart (Facebook) and Jamie Folk (Twitter) have been named the winners of the K-Wings first-ever social media prize package and will receive a $10 gift certificate from Hooters.

Last week, the K-Wings asked fans to sign up as friends on Facebook and/or follow the team on Twitter for a chance to win the Hooters prize pack.

More prizes are on the way. While Stewart and Folk won the team's first social media contest, the K-Wings are encouraging fans to continue to sign up to be friends of the K-Wings on Facebook by clicking here or follow the team on Twitter by clicking here for chances to win more great prizes during the upcoming season. And fans that have already signed up as Facebook friends or Twitter followers are already entered for future social media contests and promotions.
