Zebulon, NC --- The Cincinnati Reds have made a set of player moves impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats prior to tonight's game with the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx.
C Chris Denove has been promoted to Triple-A Louisville, while C Devin Mesoraco has been assigned to Carolina from High-A Lynchburg. Mesoraco was the 15th overall pick in the 2007 amateur draft from Punxsotawney High School in Pennsylvania.
The Mudcats roster remains at the Southern League limit of 24 players. Mesoraco will be in uniform tonight for the fourth game of the Mudcats' series against second-place West Tenn.
